Christ is Risen!

The Easter exhibition in the Assumption Cathedral presents unique icons of the 16th–17th centuries, graphics, church embroidery and precious metal products, most of which are exhibited for the first time after restoration. The project is built as a visual narrative of the Resurrection, symbolizing the spiritual revival of Ukraine. Next to the Ukrainian icon painting, engravings based on the works of Rubens, Raphael and van Dyck are presented, which emphasizes the inclusion of Ukrainian masters in the European artistic context. In the space of the cathedral, these masterpieces appear not simply as museum objects, but as a living culture that has shaped national identity for centuries.
