We invite you on a tour of one of Ukraine’s tallest church structures, which has remained Kyiv’s main architectural landmark for several centuries.
During the tour, you’ll learn about the bells, their purpose, what they symbolize, and how the art of bell-ringing evolved. You’ll discover the history of the bell tower’s construction, as well as its technical and architectural details.
You’ll see a 15th-century triptych and a bell gifted by Hetman Ivan Mazepa, and learn how the ancient Lavra clock works.
The highlight of the tour will be walking up the spiral staircase to the observation deck, which offers a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the Lavra and all of Kyiv. Here, next to the “Bell of Memory and Hope,” you’ll truly feel the grandeur and vastness of the spiritual heart of the capital.
