We invite you to visit the Great Lavra Bell Tower and promise you a fascinating experience: you’ll explore all four levels and admire the Lavra from every observation gallery, learn how services were announced at the Pechersk Lavra, and discover the history and names of the Lavra’s bells. visit the circular library hall on the 2nd level, and most importantly—you’ll have a unique opportunity to see how the chime mechanism on the 4th level works.

You will hear the story of Johann Gottfried Schödel and the origins of the Great Lavra Bell Tower. You will have the opportunity to view the exhibition “The Celebrated White-Columned Wonder” and see the ancient lifting mechanism that was likely used during construction.
